BFA in Graphic Design and Wood Design
I design/create the city’s printed promotional and informational materials, which include one- and two-color designs, as well as full-color process designs for major projects; meet with department representatives to determine job requirements, budget, concept and design of job; recommend most visually and cost effective graphic presentation; write specifications, prepares quote requests, compiles quotes and makes vendor recommendations when outside printing is required; electronically prepare documents and files for output prior to printing; design artwork and layout for promotional campaigns, to include custom logos, illustrations and use/manipulation of images; manipulation of digital images, including retouching and color-correcting digital or scanned photos to ensure high-quality printed output; determines style, techniques and medium best suited to produce the desired effect; maintain electronic and hardcopy archives of all graphic art files; design and produce city publications, including newsletters, program guides, citizen guides, advertisements, budget documents, annual reports and other special publications as required; photography with City equipment as assigned.
As a Graphic Designer for Xerox, my main responsibility, was the creative development and supervising the production of marketing collateral’s for Central Florida Regional Hospital, Englewood Community Hospital, South Bay Hospital, Osceola Regional Hospital, Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Poinciana Medical Center who are members of HCA West Florida (Hospital Corporation of America)
Assisted the Marketing Director with creative development and creative execution of strategic objectives that enhanced the brand for the Undergraduate Admission office.
Third World Aesthetics is a creative studio that provides services with a design sensibility. We aim to establish a way of looking at the creative space opened up by aesthetics with our products and services. We are chiefly interested in the aesthetic registration, and resistance to the social logic.
Tiny Batches on the other hand, is a screenprinting studio within Third World Aesthetics focused on creating amazing “Tiny Batches” of fun, positive and inspiring elements on garments and paper that are well designed, witty and meticulously curated in our studio in Belleair Bluffs, Florida.!
